The U.S. Supreme Court decided last month that emergency health care (including life-saving abortion care) could continue in states with total abortion bans. To give you an idea of what that actually looks like, here's a map of where abortion is currently banned:
But here's the thing: This ruling is only a stopgap. SCOTUS did not rule on whether emergency abortions were legal; they only sent this fight back to lower courts to be argued again. Denying abortion care in medical emergencies means more women dying while doctors watch helplessly. This is the future Trump and his extreme GOP allies have worked for, John. They're playing politics with people's lives, and they were never going to stop at overturning Roe v. Wade.
