I’m Trisha Calvarese and I’m the Democratic nominee, running against Lauren Boebert in CO-04. I got into this race to stand up for my neighbors, my late parents, for reproductive rights, and to take a stand against MAGA bullies like Lauren Boebert.
I was raised in Sterling and Highlands Ranch. Late last year Lauren Boebert realized she couldn’t win in her home district, so she up and moved to ours, where she thinks she has a better shot at getting reelected.
People in her old district, and her new district, were tired of her voting against creating jobs and securing funding for roads and bridges, but then turning around to take credit for those bills passing. They’re tired of her advocating for a nationwide abortion ban, and of her insistence on trying to gut Medicare.
Unfortunately for her, a new poll shows what my team and I have known all along: we have a clear path to victory here in CO-04.
