I know we send a lot of emails, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why fundraising is still so important for our campaign.

We’re running in one of the most competitive districts in the entire country, which also means it’ll be an expensive race, too. Republicans will spend whatever they can to hold onto this seat. In fact, they’ve already started spending millions in our district to protect Molinaro and attack me.

With so much on the line this year, we need to keep fundraising and building on our campaign’s momentum to make sure we’re prepared for anything Republicans throw our way.

But unlike my opponent, we’re running a completely grassroots campaign. We don’t take any corporate PAC money and, instead, rely solely on everyday folks like you to support our campaign.
