There's a hero inside each of us! Join the Auburn Police & Fire Departments for our annual "Battle of the Badges" blood drive on Tuesday, July 15 from noon to 5PM at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch. The need for blood is constant, especially during the summer months when accidents and emergencies increase. Show your support for our community and for first responders.

When you donate, let the Red Cross staff know if you are supporting the police department or the fire department. The group with the most donors will earn bragging rights! So, which side are you on?

The City of Auburn and the Androscoggin Land Trust present: Trail Kid Thursday - a guided nature walk at Mt Apatite Park! In honor of July being National Parks and Recreation Month, we invite you to join us at Mt Apatite (2 Small Road, Auburn) on Thursday, July 18 from 5:00-6:00PM for a short, interactive, family-friendly hike led by our friends at the Androscoggin Land Trust. We'll learn about the plants and animals of the area, play some "nature bingo," and maybe go home with a prize or two!

This event is free and open to the public. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring drinking water! Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.
