Conservation Applied Research and Development Grant Program Statewide Natural Gas and Electric Energy-Efficiency, Efficient Fuel Switching, Load Management, and Carbon - Saving Potential Study

The Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources (“Department”) seeks proposals from organizations or individuals interested in applied research and development projects that serve to accelerate the development and adoption of new energy efficient technologies and program strategies in Minnesota. The information obtained from this effort is intended to inform electric and natural gas utility Energy Conservation and Optimization (ECO) program development.
The objective of the Potential Study is to advance robust energy programs in Minnesota by providing critical data resources that will inform ECO decision-makers regarding which market sectors, geographic areas, utility service territories, end uses, measures and programs should be targeted to help realize demand-side management potential through ECO programs in Minnesota.
A Request for Proposal (“RFP”) and required forms are available for download on Commerce’s RFP website at https://mn.gov/commerce/business/rfp.jsp. Proposals must be submitted through Commerce’s grant submission portal. A link to the portal and instructions for submitting proposals can be found in the RFP.
Proposals are due by Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 5:00 PM CDT. Late proposals will not be considered.
This request does not obligate the State to complete the work contemplated in this notice. The State reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All expenses incurred in responding to this notice are solely the responsibility of the responder.
