Friend, 

Since the debate, the most charitable word we could use to describe the general vibe among the media and even among big Democratic groups is “panicking.” Confused. In a veritable tizzy.

You know what hasn't changed at all? Trump's on the other side ready to destroy our democracy. 

You know what else hasn't changed? You. 

Which means we haven't either. 

The other thing that happened since the debate? All of you who power our merry pirate ship have STEPPED UP. In a huge way. In a record-breaking way. In a 2020 kind of way. 

That's right. Since the debate – we're setting fundraising records again. More of you have stepped up and said, “I'm in the fight! I want to help The Lincoln Project beat Trump!” in the last ten days than we've seen in YEARS. 

We are so grateful for two reasons. Number one: yes, we need your help to keep this pirate ship afloat. We're powered by your grassroots contributions. But number two? The really big reason? It means that you and hundreds of thousands of others share our singular clarity of purpose. 

You know and we know we win this year by taking the fight directly to Trump. Exposing him to voters (no, not like that) and making him so mad we throw him off his game. Our purpose has never changed. We're the vanguard in this fight.
