Healthcare workers didn’t ask to be the “heroes” of this crisis. The situation was forced on them, and they’re doing what they can to survive and do their jobs -- but they need our help.
As of mid-April, over 9,000 healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19 -- most of whom say they got it on the job. 27 have tragically lost their lives. While Democrats in the House are working to protect the most essential workers we have, Trump accused healthcare workers of pleading for more masks and other PPE so they could steal them and sell them on the black market.
