There’s never been a better time than now to appreciate the beauty and bounty of Colorado. When Americans think of Colorado, many of us think of our great outdoors. From the Great Sand Dunes to the Rocky Mountains, Colorado's natural beauty is unmatched.

As the Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security, Diana is working tirelessly to ensure our beloved state stays healthy, flourishing, and greener than ever. But before we dive into what Diana is doing to keep our environment clean, will you chip in anything your budget allows so she can keep up the work?

Cutting methane emissions has been a top priority for Diana. She’s introduced pivotal legislation to limit the oil and gas industry’s emissions. One of her big wins? Getting President Biden to sign her bill into law to bring back Obama’s methane-emission standards – you know, the ones that MAGA extremists tried to toss out.

On top of tackling harmful emissions, Diana authorized the first-ever Federal Clean Energy Standard. If approved, this legislation will be an absolute game-changer, requiring U.S. power companies to go net zero on carbon emissions by 2035.

Diana is also putting her foot down on those sneaky toxic chemicals, too. Toxins like hydrogen cyanide from industrial facilities are really bad for our health, and there’s no federal limit on how much refineries can release. Diana’s legislation would make the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency step up and set a maximum federal limit to keep everyone safe.

Protecting our great outdoors is an ongoing journey, so Diana will need all of the resources she can get to preserve Colorado’s nature for generations to come.
