STATE IG TRAVELS TO MIDDLE EAST WITH DoD IG
Inspector General Cardell K. Richardson, Sr. traveled to the Middle East for his first international trip after joining State OIG. IG Richardson and Department of Defense Inspector General Robert Storch joined their staffs in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria. The two IGs provide coordinated oversight of overseas contingency operations in the area. While in the region, the IGs and their teams met with Departments of State and Defense leaders and observed programs and operations. The trip provided valuable insights that will shape State OIG plans for oversight of Department activities in the region.
