Do you know a college student – or are you a college student – in a battleground state looking to get involved in the upcoming election and fight for an equitable and just future? |
Vote for Equality, the political arm of Feminist Majority, will be conducting student-led campaigns on college campuses in: |
Arizona - California - Michigan - North Carolina Nevada - New York - Ohio - Pennsylvania - Wisconsin |
We are recruiting college and university students, graduate students, community college students, and recent graduates to be paid Organizers on their campuses this fall. Our goal is to mobilize a massive student vote to counter the extremist Republicans’ war on women and their efforts to rollback our fundamental rights.
The 2024 election will determine the direction of our country for decades. With tight races in the House, Senate, and Presidency, every vote matters. Some races could be decided by as few as a hundred votes – and students' votes could be decisive in the outcomes.
If you know a student who is passionate about advocating for progress and equality, or if you are a student in one of the battleground states, we need to hear from you. Please share the following job description with your networks to help us mobilize on campuses in key battleground states: |
- work in teams with other Organizers on their campus through Election Day;
-
educate students about their right to register and vote where they attend school;
- speak to classrooms, dorm meetings, student clubs and at campus events about what’s at stake in the election and the importance of the student vote;
- recruit volunteers and organize leafleting drives, chalking parties, and other visibility activities; and
-
organize GOTV (Get Out the Vote) during Early Voting and through Election Day.

Campus Organizers will be working through Election Day, for 5-15 hours per week, at $16 an hour. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for positions beginning in early September and throughout the campaign. |
Campus Coordinators will guide the activities of the Campus Organizing teams. Students who have more time to commit per week and have more experience in campus organizing or working on campaigns are encouraged to apply. Coordinators will begin working early August for 15-20 hours a week at $17-$20 an hour, depending on experience and size of campus. |
We are also seeking Statewide Coordinators who will be campaign professionals responsible for recruiting and guiding the work of the Campus Coordinators and for overall campaign coordination in their state. State Coordinators start August 1 and work through Election Day for 35-40 hours or more per week at $20-$25 an hour, depending on prior campaign experience. |
