Dear Friend,

The Manhattan District Attorney's decision to drop charges against more than 100 people who broke into and occupied a building at Columbia University to protest Israel’s post Oct. 7 actions against Hamas sends a dangerous message at a time of rampant antisemitism.

His actions tell the world those looking to instill fear in Jews by creating chaos and destruction can do so with reckless abandon.

New York has some of the toughest hate crime laws in the nation and it is the job of a district attorney to enforce them. If DA Alvin Bragg doesn’t want to do his job, a special prosecutor must be appointed to do so. I discuss this in greater detail in an op-ed published in the Forward, which you can read here.

Combating this escalating hate against our Jewish brothers and sisters is why I formed Never Again, NOW!  We are launching an education program reminding people what Hamas actually is and of the historic role the Jewish people have played in this country.

I discussed what’s at stake this past weekend with my friend, Rabbi Marc Schneier and members of the Hampton Synagogue. You can watch these remarks below.

If you wish to join us and support Never Again, NOW!, you can do so by going to https://www.neveragain-now.org, or by clicking the donate button below.
