“No one is above the law in our constitutional system.” 

That’s what Brett Kavanaugh said to the Senate during his confirmation hearing six years ago. He continued, “Under our system of government, the executive branch is subject to the law.”

After the Supreme Court’s decision in Donald Trump’s presidential immunity case last week, it’s safe to say he changed his mind. Though, it’s more accurate to say he lied to our faces. 

He also said repeatedly that Roe v. Wade was “settled as precedent.” Then voted to overturn it.

As we “celebrate” the sixth anniversary of Trump appointing this serial liar to our highest court, it’s important to remember that Kavanaugh and the other five justices that make up the right-wing majority on the Supreme Court aren’t there by coincidence. They are an essential part of the plot to crumble our democracy and strip us of our fundamental freedoms. And Trump is the reason we’re stuck with Kavanaugh for the foreseeable future. 

Now imagineif Trump has another opportunity to appoint 2 or more lying, right-wing radicals to the Supreme Court. 

We can prevent this future by keeping Trump out of the White House in 2025. Click here to pledge to be a Supreme Court voter this fall and stop Trump from appointing more justices who will further erode our democracy and attack our freedoms.
