Dear John,
We are in awe; in just a few days, we've raised almost $3,000 to support undocumented, incarcerated, and formerly detained people in Texas.
As we continue fighting to #FreeThemAll —that means people inside immigration, local, and state jails—we are grounded in our belief that no one is disposable . And people locked away facing hazardous conditions and risking COVID-19 exposure deserve to be included in mutual aid efforts.
Please make a donation [[link removed]] or pledge to make a donation [[link removed]] to support our solidarity fund for undocumented people, currently detained and incarcerated folks, and formerly incarcerated people. 100% of donations to this fund will be donated in cash assistance to people in need in Texas.

By donating, here's how you would be able to support families in need:
🧼 $20 - 4 bars of soap at T. Don Hutto [[link removed]]
📞 $35 - Jail calling card [[link removed]]
🍞 $50 - Jail commissary for 2 people [[link removed]]
🧻 $100 - Household goods for 3 families [[link removed]]
🥙 $500 - Groceries for 2 families [[link removed]]
🏘 $1,200 - Rent support for 3 families [[link removed]]
🌅 $5,000 - Emergency bond payment [[link removed]]
When jails can't provide people with the basic necessities to survive during a pandemic—such as giving them soap, personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies, and proper nutrition—we must work harder to ensure they are free and reunited with their loved ones, safely away from coronavirus incubators [[link removed]] .
While this happens though, we must ensure people who are incarcerated are included in mutual aid efforts. We can't forget about them; they are not disposable.
Thanks for your support, John as we keep fighting for a future where our communities are healthy, thriving, and free.
In solidarity,
