The growing body of evidence is damning – China's culpability for the COVID-19 pandemic is undeniable.

For weeks, they desperately attempted to cover up the outbreak in Wuhan. They silenced whistleblowers, and lied to the world about human-to-human transmission.

And the Chinese Communist Party REFUSES to confirm or deny whether they were studying this particular coronavirus!

We do know that they were studying bat coronaviruses, in two labs located just miles from where this outbreak started. We also know that before the pandemic, there were multiple State Department cables raising concerns about the safety and security of these labs.

I’ve called on Congress to get to the bottom of what happened and hold China accountable. Thousands upon thousands of Americans have signed my petition demanding action.

Now, I’ve introduced legislation to SANCTION Chinese officials involved in this cover-up.

To date, more than 168,000 lives have been lost, along with millions of jobs and trillions of dollars. Had the Chinese government acted responsibility, this outbreak might not have turned into a global pandemic.

China’s censorship and suppression have now become a direct threat to U.S. national security and our economy.
