Friend, this isn't good.

Earlier today, we launched our Voter Contact Fund, and frankly, we saw nowhere near the support we'll need to reach our $200,000 goal by tomorrow.

The truth is, it's not uncommon to see a slowdown in fundraising over the summer. But we can't afford to be missing critical goals like this one if we're going to defeat an entrenched incumbent like Ted Cruz.

The funds we raise before tomorrow night will be critical to ensuring we have the resources to contact as many undecided voters as we can, mobilize folks to turn out the vote, and finally defeat Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz is bad for Texas, and he's bad for our country. You know it, I know it, and Texans know it.

But with corporate PACs and special interests propping up Cruz's campaign with millions of dollars, we won't have the resources we need to fight back, mobilize enough voters, and bring much-needed change to Texas if we don't raise what we need.
