Discussions among congressional Dems about President Biden and the Democratic ticket reached a fever pitch today as members of Congress returned to Washington DC where they can meet in person.

While this all plays out, NBC News reports, "President Joe Biden’s shaky debate performance has turned more attention in the Democratic Party on races further down the ballot."

Axios adds, "Donors are now planning to go bigger on contributions to House and Senate candidates in a bid to build a Capitol Hill firewall." If we lose the House, we could lose democracy.
