On Friday, as right-wing protests of Stay At Home orders spread across the country, President Trump used extreme NRA talking points to stoke tensions. Trump tweeted "LIBERATE MINNESOTA!" "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!" and "LIBERATE VIRGINIA, and save your great 2nd Amendment. It is under siege!"

While elected officials tried to protect public health and provide accurate information, Trump's tweets led to a surge of social media mentions about far-right armed uprisings and conspiracy theories. And side-by-side with the NRA, the President continues to recklessly attack Virginia Governor Ralph Northam for the gun violence prevention laws he recently signed.

We will only defeat the NRA's #1 ally, Donald Trump, with your help — fuel our fight today to beat Trump and NRA-backed candidates in November.
