Team,
In recent weeks, as our nation has worked to combat the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've seen how important it is that our state and community get the federal support we need and deserve.
That's why I wanted to check in with you about the Census. The U.S. Census aims to count every person residing in the country -- that data is then used to proportionally distribute federal funds for various public goods like low-income healthcare, housing assistance, infrastructure, education, and more.
Simply put, the more people are counted within your district, the more money your community will receive for these public services. That's why it's so critical to our community that every single one of us takes the Census -- that includes YOU, and every member of Team Connolly!
Let's do our part to make sure our community doesn't miss out on valuable federal funding for education, healthcare, housing, and more for the next ten years. So please, if you haven't already, take a moment today and fill out the Census! [[link removed]]

Taking the Census is easy! It should take you no more than five minutes and you can do it by mail (if you received a paper questionnaire in the mail), over the phone (call 1-800-923-8282), or online ([link removed]).
One more key fact I want to make sure you know: You do not need to be an American citizen to be counted! The Census aims to count all US residents regardless of your citizenship status, immigration status, or country of origin (the Census Bureau is prohibited from sharing the data with federal agencies like I.C.E.).
So, right now, I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes, visit 2020Census.gov, and complete the Census on behalf of your household TODAY. [[link removed]]

Thank you for helping support our community -- and, as always, stay safe.
