Hello,
In this week’s edition, I address why you should take the opportunities that present themselves to you — so much so that you exhaust yourself in the pursuit of opportunity. Then, I talk with cybercrime expert and CEO of The Media Trust, Chris Olson, about online scams, legislative measures for internet safety, and the digital ecosystem. From the archives, I share my experiences from traveling while on tour and a motivational component of those travels.

Advice
Take Advantage Of Opportunities
With regard to your future, do not avoid opportunity or hide unwanted things in the fog — and do not do what you hate. If you are resentful, you have to ask yourself if you are being immature or if you are being tyrannized, but the probability you are immature is very high, which is the case for everyone. Have you, indeed, fully grown up? You know yourself well enough to know you are still 13 years old in some ways. I witnessed this with my clinical clients in the past, especially if they had been hurt at some point in their lives. As they talked, I could see them transform right before my eyes.
I have read studies that purport to demonstrate that if you ask people when they are older what they regret most in their lives, it is not the mistakes they have made; it is the opportunities that they did not take. Even though it is short, your life might be long enough that if you take advantage of everything that comes your way, you would exhaust yourself in the pursuit of opportunity so that you could be content with the finitude of your mortal existence.

Why Marriage Is The Highest Form Of Play
Marriage should be the highest possible form of play. It is so utterly valuable that all that idiocy and immaturity that you are sacrificing is like cutting away dead flesh. It is like burning old clothes, or it is the forest fire that renews the garden. If you think that what you are giving up is not worth what you are attaining, then your vision is clouded to a degree that is a form of miracle.

Travel And Relaxation
In this interview, I was asked if I ever have time to relax and what I do during those times. I have brief moments of relaxation while on tour, which I spend with Tammy, my wife, walking around the cities we are in, but our days are full and tightly scheduled. As we walk the streets, wait in airports, or visit cafes, I am able to meet people who are polite and happy to talk, which makes staying motivated during such demanding seasons much easier to do.
