Jack, I was ANGRY when the Supreme Court handed down its decision to give Trump sweeping immunity. And apparently a lot of you were too because the email I sent (copied below) got one of the biggest reactions we've seen in a long, long time. That's good because we need Democrats to be fired up heading into this election.

The right-wing supermajority on the Supreme Court refused to hold Donald Trump accountable. The only people who can hold him accountable now is us. Jack, today the right-wing supermajority on the Supreme Court declared that presidents have sweeping immunity from prosecution. As Justice Sonia Sotomayor bleakly described the majority opinion: "In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law."

Considering that Donald Trump, who has repeatedly called for Hillary Clinton to be jailed and suggested that retired General Mark Milley should be executed, the Supreme Court has just rolled out the red carpet for a Trump dictatorship. The only thing standing in Trump's way is us. That's why I'm writing to you today.

The Supreme Court failed to hold Donald Trump accountable for his actions. Our only recourse is to hold him accountable at the ballot box. That means we NEED to get out every possible Democratic voter in November. Daily Kos is doing its part.
