Folks, last year, we witnessed blatant voter suppression in Mississippi.
No early voting period, unnecessary restrictions on absentee ballots, long lines at polling stations — the whole gambit.
I called it out, saying that states like Mississippi aren’t “red,” they’re voter-suppressed.
This has been the conservative strategy for generations.
Now, as we sprint toward another Election Day with tons of high-stakes races on the ballot, we need to take action to ensure everyone can make their voice heard.
For the sake of our democracy, we need to act immediately to protect the voting rights of millions of Americans in “red” states like Mississippi. If you agree, sign on:
What our democracy currently has isn’t a fair playing field.
I’m hoping you’ll join me in the fight to make voting accessible to everyone, no matter their zip code.
Thank you,
Joe
