It says a lot about the state of our country when a convicted felon is allowed on a Presidential debate stage to rattle off nonsensical points that would harm American families.

In the aftermath of the first Presidential debate, I had one key takeaway: Trump needs to stay FAR away from the White House.

Trump’s Republican party will put us all in danger if he somehow manages to win in November. If you agree, will you pitch in $25 or whatever you can today to help boost Democrats in Michigan and nationwide?

Look, everything that Trump said in Atlanta was a load of BS. But what continues to stand out to me are his proposals on tariffs and abortion rights.

Trump’s plan to impose a 10% tariff on all U.S. imports is a DISASTER for our country that leaves American consumers paying the price. Economists predict that a middle-class household would have to pay an additional $1,700 a year if this were to go into effect.

I also don’t take Trump’s attempts to mislead voters on where he stands with abortion lightly.

After stating how everyone wanted Roe to be appealed (FALSE), it’s clear that if Trump becomes President again, Republicans will have a clear path to passing a nationwide abortion ban.

I’ve spent my career fighting for working families and domestic manufacturers, and I refuse to let Trump’s awful policy proposals harm Michiganders. I will do everything in my power to keep his returned presidency a mere hypothetical, but I can’t do it alone.

There’s so much at stake in this election. That’s why we must boost Democrats in battleground states like Michigan so we can continue building on the progress that we’ve made.
