Seeking public input to assist in designing a new Home Repair Grant program

The Washington State Department of Commerce received a capital appropriation of $6 million for a new program to provide grants for residential repair and improvement projects that address health, safety and durability issues in rural areas of the state.

We are currently seeking information and feedback to assist in the program design and accessibility. We expect to open a solicitation later this summer to contract with agencies that will provide home repair services to eligible homeowners.

The full Request for Information is posted online. Once you have reviewed the information, there are multiple ways to send input, including an online form and a downloadable Word document that can be emailed.
