Texas’ near-total abortion ban was intentionally written broadly. This in
turn left doctors unsure of their options, afraid of violating the ban and
forced them to potentially wait until the last minute to administer an
abortion because of the draconian punishments attached to violating the
ban.

Those seeking reproductive healthcare have to fund out-of-state travels —
an option that isn’t feasible for many Texans.

When we Cut Cruz from the Senate this November, this is the legacy that
Ted Cruz will leave behind.

A Texas where doctors are afraid of caring for their patients out of fear
of being sued or put in prison. And a Texas where women have to risk their
health and financial stability just to have a say over their own bodies.
