At 17, I was assaulted and then had an abortion. It was devastating.
I was devastated again 30 years later when Republican extremists overturned Roe v. Wade.
But I’ve turned my hurt into action: defending access to abortion care, organizing to expand the Supreme Court, and working with President Biden to protect abortion rights. For me, the fight for our reproductive freedoms is personal – and urgent.
I recently released a new campaign ad that tells my story and underscores my unwavering commitment to defend our rights at every level – especially given the far-right’s relentless attacks on our reproductive freedoms. Take a look here: [[link removed]]

In 2022, Missouri became the first state to enact its extreme abortion ban after the far-right Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe . More than ever, we need a reproductive champion who will stand firm and fight back.
I am that champion. I am at the forefront of our fight to enshrine gender equality into the Constitution — including our right to bodily autonomy — by finally publishing the Equal Rights Amendment . As the co-founder and co-chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus and the proud lead sponsor of the ERA Now Resolution , I know a better future is possible. I am the ONLY candidate in this race to be endorsed by leading reproductive and abortion rights organizations, including Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Abortion Action Missouri, and Reproductive Freedom For All (formerly NARAL).
My opponent, on the other hand, is a former Republican campaign manager for an anti-abortion extremist who ran for this very seat. Now, he is being bankrolled by anti-abortion Republicans, including those who spearheaded Missouri’s extreme abortion ban. John, St. Louis is not for sale, and reproductive freedom is not something to bet on.
Now, more than ever, we need your support. This fight is not just about one election; it’s about our fundamental rights and freedoms. Will you join me by contributing to our campaign today? [[link removed]]

[link removed] [[link removed]] As a frontline Ferguson activist, a formerly unhoused single mother of two, a nurse, a survivor, and a pastor, Congresswoman Cori Bush knows the struggles our communities face on a daily basis. In 2020, on a mission to save lives, she defeated a 52-year political dynasty; in 2022, St. Louis sent her back to Congress with a strong mandate to champion racial, economic, reproductive, gender, health, and environmental justice.
Now, Cori is running for re-election to continue doing the most for everyone, starting with those who have the greatest need. [[link removed]]
