Last week, I introduced the Essential Workers’ Bill of Rights alongside Senator Elizabeth Warren. Its provisions would provide critical protections, hazard pay, and more for the folks who are keeping our nation up and running during this crisis.

The numbers are in: 75% of all Americans, including 73% of Republicans, support our proposal according to a recent poll.

Regardless of partisan affiliation, people understand the inherent cruelty of making doctors and nurses risk their lives without PPE, and realize the absurdity of paying the grocery store clerks who have kept us all fed only $7.25 an hour.

This is the type of legislation I’m fighting for in Congress. But I need your support. Will you chip in to my reelection campaign to help us keep up the fight?

Our essential workers are putting their lives on the line to ensure that we can quarantine, protect the vulnerable, and make it through this crisis with the fewest number of deaths possible.

We owe it to them to fight as hard as we can to make sure they have the resources and protections they deserve.
