Today, Ohio Citizen Action proudly announced the organization’s endorsements for the 2024 election cycle <[link removed]>. The endorsement slate includes statewide and Congressional candidates, as well as a vital Constitutional Amendment ballot issue.

Starting now, we are knocking on doors and talking with Ohio voters in targeted areas around the state.



























Why is Ohio Citizen Action endorsing candidates?

For too long, Ohio’s elected officials have turned a blind eye to monumental issues like climate change, gerrymandering, and corruption. Ohio Citizen Action is ready to organize and mobilize support for candidates who prioritize Ohioans' needs.

The candidates we support are demonstrably pro-climate and firmly committed to protecting both voting rights and reproductive freedoms for the residents of Ohio.

Our organization will do what we do best — talk directly to Ohio voters to ensure they are informed and prepared to get out and participate in the election.

The following candidates and issue have been endorsed by Ohio Citizen Action for the November 2024 election:

- Sherrod Brown (D) for U.S. Senate from Ohio
- Greg Landsman (D) for U.S. Congress (CD-1)
- Marcy Kaptur (D) for U.S. Congress (CD-9)
- Emilia Sykes (D) for U.S. Congress (CD-13)
- Justice Michael P. Donnelly (D) for Ohio Supreme Court
- Justice Melody Stewart (D) for Ohio Supreme Court
- Lisa Forbes (D) for Ohio Supreme Court
- Citizens Not Politicians Constitutional Amendment
