Friends,
Not everyone needs a 4-year degree to thrive. I earned my associates at a community college, a stepping stone for some and a perfectly adequate path to many successful professions.
It's why I support two years of post-secondary education tuition-free. To get it done, we need a majority in the House, and I need your help getting to Congress.
Small and mighty educational institutions offer profound impacts to our rural communities, with a total attendance of approximately 29,000 students. Here's to the institutions that make our district thrive:
- Alpena Community College
- Bay Mills Community College
- Bay de Noc Community College
- Gogebic Community College
-
Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College
- Kirtland Community College
- Lake Superior State University
- Michigan Technological University
-
Northern Michigan University
- North Central Michigan College
- Northwestern Michigan College
Vocational training, community colleges, and apprenticeships are essential for building a strong workforce, and no one should be held back from reaching their potential due to the financial burden of education.
As a fellow educator, I have a deep appreciation for their work. Their commitment to education is not just a job but a passion I share. If honored, I will support them as your next Representative and continue to champion the importance of education in our district.
Your support will help me continue my advocacy to make MI01 a place where all students can thrive.
