Upcoming Training Opportunity: FIND One Day Training

The Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities (KCDD) and Adult Protective Services (APS) have partnered to provide Kansas professionals a uniquely informative training opportunity.

Modell Consulting Group, LLC, a nationally recognized leader in Forensic Interviewing Training, will provide their FIND One-Day Training on August 22, 2024 at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library in Topeka.

The FIND One-Day Training is designed for individuals working on multidisciplinary teams (MDT?s) and in other service organizations who are seeking to gain insights about the risk factors, realities, and strategies for working with individuals with disabilities. The training is founded on forensic interviewing best practices with considerations and adaptations for individual disability, language capacity, and cultural background. This one day curriculum will introduce participants to the basics of the FIND Model of Forensic Interviewing and practical applications for engaging and communicating with vulnerable populations.
