Good morning, John! I want to check in with our top supporters after the long holiday weekend.
I just met with my Finance Director, Katelyn, over a cup of coffee to talk about our fundraising and she had some not so great news…July is not off to a great start. It’s always tough to raise money during the summer, but we can’t afford to fall off track.
Before I explain more, will you chip in $10 to support our grassroots campaign? We urgently need to catch up by midnight tonight:
Right now, our campaign is in a dead heat against Republican Kelly Ayotte in the polls. We knew this would be a tough race, but the ratings from the Cook Political Report confirmed it: Democrats will have to give it our all if we want to flip this toss-up seat.
Now that Kelly Ayotte has endorsed Donald Trump for President, the MAGA donors are in full force to help them both flip New Hampshire bright red.
But I feel confident that if we meet our July fundraising goal, we have the message and the team to build a strong operation that can elect Democrats up and down the ballot come November.
