Nine years ago, Pamela Merritt and I co-founded Reproaction as a bold, new organization
demanding more for abortion rights and access and refusing to settle for compromises.
And what a nine years it’s been!
In these years we have seen a massive (okay, seismic!) shift in our country’s abortion landscape.
Rights have eroded. Access has shrunk dramatically. The ties between the anti-abortion
movement and the rising tide of white supremacy have never been clearer.
Through it all, we have pushed through our mission of increasing access to abortion and advancing reproductive justice everywhere.

option; we have called out Big Tech for censoring abortion content in the wake of Dobbs; we
have raised awareness on the long history of criminalizing pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes;
and so much more.
