Jacky Rosen

Team,

Dreamers are young people who were brought to our country as children and have built their lives here -- some for more than two decades now. I believe that Dreamers are a part of the fabric of this nation, and we must do everything we can to protect them from detention or deportation.

With nearly 30,000 Dreamers serving as health care professionals during the COVID-19 crisis, and with hundreds of thousands more as part of our essential workforce, it is absolutely crucial that we let Dreamers know that we are standing with them right now.

Dreamers should not be forced to live in limbo, fearing whether they’ll be sent away from the country where they were raised and where they’ve built their lives. Add your name now if you’re with me in the fight to save DACA and protect Dreamers across the country.

During the Obama Administration, hundreds of thousands of Dreamers came forward and applied for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. But President Trump has shamefully moved to end DACA, with a Supreme Court decision expected by June.

And now it seems that the Trump Administration is preparing to deport Dreamers, even during the middle of a public health emergency. That’s why I’m taking action to protect them.

I am calling for language in this year’s appropriations bill that would prohibit any funds being used to deport Dreamers. I have also introduced pro-Dreamer legislation and signed an amicus brief calling on the Supreme Court to overrule President Trump and uphold the DACA program.

Are you with me? Sign the petition now to stand with Dreamers.

Thank you,

Jacky
