Out of 268 minors who were wrongfully convicted, 34% were trapped into confessing to things they didn't do — all because police tricked them with lies about evidence or what they were up against. This is a huge problem that needs fixing, like, yesterday. California, Delaware, Illinois, Oregon, and Utah have already passed laws banning these deceptive practices. Now, we need Congress to step up and protect children nationwide.
