In the past weeks, these are the headlines we've seen out of Congress. Senate Republicans had a chance to show their support for basic reproductive health care, but they instead showed their true extremist colors, voting against the Right to Contraception Act and Right to IVF Act.

- The Right to IVF Act would establish a clear and enforceable nationwide right to access IVF (in-vitro fertilization) and expand availability and coverage for it.

These bills should be non-controversial! The majority of Americans support access to contraception and fertility treatments. But extremists—brought to power by Donald Trump and his allies—don't care, and they're waiting with bated breath to strip away our reproductive freedom.
