Colin and Ted Cruz are running two very different types of campaigns – and there's a reason why that matters, friend.

Before we get into it, we have to ask: Will you chip in whatever you can afford to help us reach our daily goal of $65,000 so we can mobilize voters, pull ahead, and defeat Ted Cruz?

Colin has received hundreds of thousands of individual donations and has never taken a cent of corporate PAC money.

Cruz on the other hand ...

* Spends his time courting extremist mega donors for six-figure checks

* Relies on the financial support of special interests, corporations, and dark money groups

* And on top of that, he has super PACs like the Club for Growth dropping in at least $10 MILLION on attack ads against Colin

Here's why that matters, friend: The fact that Ted Cruz spends so much of his time schmoozing with ultra-rich, far-right extremists means that's who he's prioritized in the Senate.

Colin, on the other hand, is running a grassroots campaign powered by smaller dollar donations because he's in this to represent you in the Senate – not lobbyists, not special interests, not corporations, but YOU.

But that means we need to reach every single grassroots goal we set, or else the dark money groups and mega donors propping up Cruz's campaign will leave us in the dust and reelect Ted Cruz. So, please, will you chip in $5 – or whatever amount you can spare – now to help us reach our daily goal of $65,000 so we can keep pace with Cruz and kick him out of the Senate?

Thank you for your commitment to defeating Ted Cruz and electing real leadership for Texas, friend.
