Together with locked arms, we brought down street homelessness for the first time in years – bringing thousands more people inside last year than the year before. We cut the timeline to build affordable housing by 75%, implemented a comprehensive approach to make L.A. safer, and ushered in a sea change in how the city works with the county, the state and the federal governments to secure hundreds of millions dollars for climate, public safety and housing initiatives.

I am running for a second term because we cannot stop bringing change to L.A. Working people and our small businesses are counting on us to change the status quo. LA’s seniors are counting on us to protect them. And our children are counting on us to confront climate change.
