Dear NRDC Action Fund Activist,

Earth Day is two days away, and the entire country is suffering from an
unprecedented public health crisis. But what is the Trump administration
doing?

Meeting with oil and gas executives to discuss siphoning off COVID-19
relief funds to prop up their industries...

Rolling back enforcement of environmental laws and gutting vehicle
pollution rules, giving a green light to fossil fuel companies to pollute
without penalty or accountability...

Failing to tighten regulations on toxic soot emissions, which scientists
have linked to higher COVID-19 death rates...

And weakening safeguards to reduce mercury, lead, and other toxic air
pollutants from power plants — a rollback that will increase the risk of
asthma, brain damage, and cancer.

We cannot allow another four years of attacks like this. Right now, we
must stay laser-focused on one goal — removing President Trump and his
allies in Congress from office on Election Day.

[ [link removed] ]Give now in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, and be one of
the 1,500 donors we need to unlock $50,000 in critical funds to fuel our
advocacy and electoral work now through November.

Since day one, Trump and his pro-polluter allies have gutted environmental
protections and stifled scientific views that inconvenience their
corporate agendas — and Americans have been paying the price.

His rollbacks are making our air and water more polluted. His attacks on
climate science and obsession with fossil fuels are leading us closer and
closer to an irreversible climate catastrophe.

And right now, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, his actions are further
threatening our health and safety — and even our lives.

The administration's fatal decision to ignore the scientists and experts
who warned of the seriousness of this crisis is more proof that each day
Trump sits in the White House, the more urgent the threat to our future
grows.

I know
you're outraged. I'm outraged, too. [ [link removed] ]So, on the 50th anniversary of
Earth Day, let's channel our outrage into action. Make a gift right now
and help unlock $50,000 in critical funds to fuel our fight to win in
November.

You and I both know we need a leader who listens to experts, who will
prioritize public health, who will take bold action to save our climate,
and who will address the most urgent threats to our planet. On November 3,
we get to vote for one — but we need to do our part to get there.

This Earth Day, the best gift that we can give the planet and its people
is a president and an administration who will protect it. Thanks to a
generous donor, [ [link removed] ]if 1,500 donors chip in before midnight on Earth Day,
we will unlock an extra $50,000 to ramp up targeted voter outreach,
mobilize grassroots activists, and help turn out pro-environment voters
during the election. Make your special Earth Day gift now.

Enough is enough. Let's make this Earth Day the beginning of the end of
Trump's disastrous presidency. With you standing with us, I know we can
win.

Sincerely,

[1]Kevin
