Few things reveal the majesty and immensity of the Lord to me as the ocean.
My favorite time of day when at the beach is early evening - the sun begins sinking and most people have retreated back inside for the night. The only noise is coming from the waves crashing in the sand.
I look out at the immense water and think of His creation. Every seashell, every particle of sand, every tiny fish and every very large fish; all His creation.
Yet as human beings, we are His prized possessions. His children that He loves and cares for with more attention and concern than even the most beautiful seashell or colorful fish.
So many amazing things He has created, yet what He wants most is a relationship with us.
All of creation shows His glory and sings His praises, but as His children we are made to glorify Him even more. We should live our lives in relationship with Him and in ways that glorify Him all throughout the world, for the Lord is magnificent indeed.
