Hey, it’s Kidus. You might have seen the headlines already. On Monday, the Supreme Court granted Trump “absolute” immunity for his formal actions as President, making it easier for his lawyers to throw out charges against him.

Last Friday, they overturned the “Chevron Doctrine.” That ruling opens hundreds of avenues for big businesses to challenge environmental, health, and consumer protection laws.

It’s bad, and unfortunately, it could get a lot worse. If Trump wins this November, he will continue to stack the court with corrupt ideologues more concerned with helping their corporate backers than upholding the Constitution.
