I wanted to share a quick update with you about our campaign’s progress during this challenging time.

→ We have had a tremendous number of volunteers reach out to support our campaign. We’ve now trained nearly 100 volunteers on how to make phone calls remotely! We’re making calls every day, checking in with 2018 volunteers, and giving campaign updates.

→ Our office remains closed. We miss seeing everyone in person! We know that our campaign office was a home-away-from-home for a lot of you, and we miss seeing you in person.

→ Grassroots donors have come through in a big way. We’ve had to cancel all of our in-person fundraising events, but we’re hosting virtual events, and, as always, our grassroots digital donors continued to support our campaign with small-dollar donations.

→ Our opponents are booking TV time for the late summer and fall. We closely monitor these reservations and so far we know that outside groups have already booked over $1 million in ads against us.

John, there may be uncertainties right now, but we must continue building the strongest campaign possible in order to win in November.
