Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissent encapsulated so much of what we’ve
long feared about the partisan tilt of the Supreme Court — and its

Trump’s MAGA senators helped him ram through THREE Supreme Court nominees
that they confirmed to the Court — all of whom joined the 6-3 majority in
granting Trump immunity.

It’s clear how important the Senate majority is to defending against the
worst impulses of an authoritarian president — and to providing a final
backstop that could prevent our democracy from being torn into oblivion.
