been following the news about school voucher legislation in Texas?

[ [link removed] ]A headline from The Texas Tribune detailing a years long effort on the
part of far-right Christian donors seeking to impose their radical
worldview on us all.

Right-wing donors who openly support Christian nationalism have been
pushing to defund public schools and send those tax dollars to religious
private schools instead for years. It looks like they may be on the verge
of getting their wish.

And guess who’s been cheering them on the entire way? That’s right, Texas’
part-time senator. Just take a look at what Ted once said about this
issue:

“If when I die, my tombstone says that, ‘Ted played a meaningful role in
bringing school choice to the kids of Texas and the kids of America,’ then I die
a happy man.”

He even told a theater full of people that, “there is no domestic issue I
care more about than school choice.”

From school choice to abortion rights to marriage equality and so many
more issues, Ted Cruz is pushing a Christian nationalist agenda that
Texans (and Americans) do not want.

It’s time to kick him out of office this November — and we need your
