Reporters turned on president only when the lie became impossible to sustain.
The former executive editor of The New York Times gave away the game: The media were in on it. They helped cover up President Biden’s dramatic cognitive decline and gaslit Americans regarding his mental and physical condition. “The Biden White House clearly succeeded in a massive cover-up of the degree of the president’s feebleness and his serious physical decline, which may be simply the result of old age,” Ms. Abramson said.
“Shame on the White House press corps for not [having] pierced the veil of secrecy surrounding the president.” |

NOTABLE QUOTES |
Becky Noble contributor to RedState.com reports a disturbing trend: A new Gallup poll, taken between June 3-23, shows that just two in five Americans, roughly 41 percent, say they are “extremely proud” of being an American. It is the fifth consecutive year the number of those polled has fallen into the 38-43 percent range. Of those polled, another 26 percent said they were “very proud” to be an American. Among other respondents, 18 percent said they were “moderately proud,” 10 percent said they were “a little proud,” and thankfully, just five percent they were “not at all proud.”
J.B. Shurk contributor to American Thinker: Government is the destroyer of liberty. Bureaucracies do not light the flame of freedom; they snuff freedom’s light out. People alone (separate from the organizing strictures of the State) secure their liberty by pushing back against and restraining the otherwise ever-growing oppression of power-hungry governments. Citizens hold the keys to their own prison cells. They must only find the courage to open up their doors and walk outside. This was true in 1776; it is no less true today. |
