But our opponent? He’s already shown himself to be against any legislation that would help working people. Further, it is clear he is in the pocket of big business and the GOP establishment.
Jared believes that if you work hard, you should be able to provide for your family and get ahead. But in many ways, we’re failing to live up to that basic promise.
While the economy has grown over the last several decades and corporate profits have surged, regular folks - many of them working for these corporations - haven’t seen the benefit.
To restore the American promise, we have to give workers a more powerful seat at the table which is why Jared has been such a strong advocate for the PRO Act to strengthen protections for workers and increase their power to collectively bargain for fair wages, quality affordable healthcare, good retirement benefits, and a safe work environment.
