We just got word of a brand new poll in Kansas — check out the results:
This is great news! In the last independent poll of this race in February, we were tied with likely Republican nominee Kris Kobach at 43%. This proves that momentum is on our side. But our 2-point lead is still within the margin-of-error, and Kobach’s special interest allies are committed to spending millions to support him.
We need your help right now to defeat them and build on our lead.
That’s why I’m setting a one-day $5,000 fundraising goal. I’m asking you directly: will you split $3 or more between my campaign and Maggie Hassan's to keep us on track to win in Kansas and flip the Senate this November?
Here are our top takeaways from this poll:
1. Kansans believe in our message of sending a voice of reason to the Senate.
2. Special interests are going to continue meddling in this race to try and boost Kobach.
3. 13% of Kansans are still undecided in this race — we need to convince them to stand with us!
We can absolutely win this Senate seat and send a voice of reason to Washington. But we need to be doing everything we can to keep up our momentum, and with the serious public health concerns posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we can’t hold any of the in-person campaign events we had previously planned.
Unfortunately, that means we’ll have a huge gap in our April fundraising numbers — unless this grassroots team can step up in a big way and help us get over the finish line.
