Friend --
As we move into the next phase of the 2020 presidential election many are speculating on who Joe Biden will choose as his running mate. Early on, he pledged to tap a woman as his running mate, fueling speculation that US Veteran Senator Tammy Duckworth is high on his list of potential picks.
Sen. Duckworth served her country as an Iraq war combat veteran, where she lost both of her legs after her Black Hawk was shot down. Since 2016, she's continued to proudly serve as a progressive champion and is our party's most vocal leader on military and veterans issues in the Senate.
Running with Senator Duckworth would mark several historic firsts -- she would be the first Asian American vice-presidential nominee, the first female veteran vice-presidential nominee, and the first disabled woman to be on a ticket.
And since we're the largest group representing the opinions of veterans and military families, we thought we should ask:
Should Joe Biden tap Tammy Duckworth to be his running mate and Vice President? >>

Thanks for taking a moment to sound off. We'll report back on the results in a few days.
