shot by the IDF and may never play football again
This is Karam. He was one of the best football players in Khan Yunis. But
he was injured by an IDF bomb while he was waiting for aid trucks, and now
he may never play football again.
Call on FIFA to ban Israel now.

John,
Israel has killed nearly 40,000 people in Gaza since October 7, and for
over fifty years, it has consistently violated international law in
Palestine. These crimes can’t go unpunished, and Israel’s colonialism
can’t be normalized by international sports authorities.
That’s why more than 360,000 people have signed our petition urging FIFA
to ban Israel, just as it did with Russia, South Africa, and Yugoslavia in
the past. This massive public outcry has already forced FIFA to seek legal
counsel and schedule an extraordinary meeting in two weeks to make its
decision.
Now more than ever, we need your help to amplify this call for justice and
peace. Join our urgent appeal and help us reach 500,000 signatures before
we deliver our message to FIFA next week:

The Israeli government continues to bomb and starve people in Gaza —
killing over 37,000 people. According to UNICEF, 1 in 3 children in
northern Gaza are acutely malnourished.
FIFA claims to stay neutral and use football to bring nations together,
but in reality it has punished repressive regimes in the past like when it
suspended Russia after it invaded Ukraine, and South Africa for its racist
apartheid system.
Letting Israel play in FIFA games creates a double-standard for the
football association, and signals to the world that the Israeli
government’s genocide in Gaza is accepted on the global stage.
But FIFA is seeking legal council now and will make a decision on July 20.
Time is running out for us to show FIFA that people all over the world are
urging it to ban Israel. Add your name to the call and forward this widely
— let’s get to 500,000 signers before next week:

After Israel's 9-day siege on Gaza in 2021, 140,000 of us called one of
the world’s biggest sports brands, PUMA, to drop its sponsorship of the
Israel Football Association. We met with PUMA’s CEO to deliver our
message, and thanks to our collective pressure and the tireless work of
Palestinian solidarity activists over the years, PUMA quietly ended its
relationship with Israel’s Football Federation last year, months after
Israel’s current invasion.
Let’s do it again, and get FIFA to ban Israel until Israel's army stops
killing Palestinians.
