John,

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is taking a stand against the corrupt, far-right Supreme Court majority.

Following the court’s unconstitutional decision to give presidents absolute immunity for official acts last week and their major corruption scandals this term, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted last week that she intends to file articles of impeachment after Congress returns for recess next week:

Tweet from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control. Today's ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture. I intend on filing articles of impeachment upon our return.

Add your name to tell AOC you have her back and to urge other members of Congress to sign on to articles of impeachment against the corrupt justices on this court.

With no accountability to anyone, and no regard for the actual text of the Constitution itself, the Roberts majority on the Supreme Court has become a club where right-wing billionaires and Republican ideologues can buy whatever policies they want, no matter the harm to the American people.

Justice Clarence Thomas alone has received (and illegally failed to disclose) millions of dollars’ worth of luxury gifts, real estate, private school tuition, and more from conservative billionaires since 2004, while his wife is a proud MAGA activist who supported the January 6 insurrection.

Justice Samuel Alito has flown insurrectionist flags outside of his homes while going on a free luxury vacation with a billionaire whose business Alito later ruled in favor of in court.

And the far-right majority has changed the definition of bribery to only refer to gifts given before a decision, and made it harder to prosecute people who tried to overturn the U.S. government.

Our democracy is in real danger if we do not take a bold stand now to expand the Court, demand real ethics guidelines, and do all we can to hold the corrupt right-wing justices on the Court fully accountable.

That’s why we’re asking you to add your name and tell your representative to support AOC’s work to impeach corrupt justices. Click here to sign on.
