68,000 posters up around the country + 99,000 leaflets given out + 20,000 face-to-face conversations + 14,000 phone calls + 10,000 emails to politicians + Over 1 million people seeing our manifesto ranking + 220,000 committed Climate Voters = Politicians made to LISTEN
Hi John,, we did it!
This general election, over 220,000 of us have been part of an amazing effort to push climate and nature further up the political agenda.
We knew that the climate wasn’t getting the attention it deserved from politicians. But we also knew that it was a huge issue for people like you and me. That’s what Project Climate Vote has been all about – using people power to make our voices heard.
And, our efforts paid off! Politicians saw our posters, read our emails, and answered questions on their climate and nature promises. So much so, that dozens even got in touch directly to plead their climate credentials, after seeing how many of their constituents care about the issue.

It’s been a rollercoaster but we now have a Government that has promised to stop new oil and gas licences, and has a plan for rolling out renewable energy and green homes. This is a good start, but we’ll need to keep pushing them for the future we want and deserve. We’ll also need to keep standing together to demand peace, justice and equality - here and across the world.

We know that ocean protection is a really important issue for you. The Labour party committed to ratifying the Global Oceans Treaty as one of the first things they will do in government, and that’s one of the many things that, together, we will hold them accountable for.

Now is our chance to make our new government and political representatives listen. This is why we want to meet with every MP to make sure they know what we need for a brighter future!
When it comes to the climate, ecological and cost-of-living crises, the challenges we face are huge. But so much can be achieved by people coming together, doing what they can.
