This Quarter, we are proud to honor Camille Brown

** Welcome to the 2024 Second Quarter edition of The Moran Minuteman.
------------------------------------------------------------

This quarterly newsletter is our way of recognizing extraordinary efforts in the First Congressional District of Texas and providing an inside look into what happens behind the scenes in the life of a Congressman.

** Meet Your 2024 National Delegates & Alternates!
------------------------------------------------------------
Tracy Vincent is married to his wonderful wife Donna of 22 years. They have 2 sons, 4 daughters, 16 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter. Tracy is President of Gregg County Republican Club, Past Gregg County Republican Chairman, Gregg County Voting Machine Evaluations Committee, Gregg County Wide Voting Committee, East Texans for Liberty VP, Gregg County Republican Fundraising and Longview and Henderson Chamber Leadership Programs. He is a member of Mobberly Baptist Church - Longview, Texas. Tracy truly enjoys helping the citizens of East Texas with educating our voters and young Republicans. And also being a Constitutional Conservative Patriot of "MAGA and Greater!", for all citizens of our great United States of America.
Craig Licciardi is from Flint, TX and has seven children with his wife Stephanie. They attend Harvest Time Church. Interestingly enough, he was encouraged to get involved in local politics by Congressman Moran's father, who encouraged him to go to his first precinct convention. Former Congressman Louie Gohmert also encouraged Craig to get involved at the local level. Craig didn't know what that looked like at the time, but he dove into the deep end of the pool, attending that first precinct convention in 2014. He became the precinct chair, and since then, he has been a delegate to six state conventions and served as our senate district's representative on the state Rules Committee in 2020. Craig is grateful and honored to have the opportunity to represent Texas' First Congressional District in 2024 as a national delegate in Milwaukee!
Lee Lester has been active in the Republican Party for over 30 years. Lee moved to Harrison County 11 years ago and became a precinct chair immediately filling a vacancy. After two previous county chairs resigned, he was asked to fill the positions as County Chair. Six years later, the county party is operating in the black and donating to local and statewide candidates. Lee is honored to serve the conservative Republicans of Harrison County.

** Congratulations to our Second Quarter Minuteman - Camille Brown
------------------------------------------------------------

When I think of East Texans, I think of the Minutemen of the Revolutionary War ([link removed]) . Loyal to country and community, dependable, selfless, and ready at a moment's notice, the Minutemen were American heroes who helped turn the tide of the Revolutionary War. Today's East Texans reflect those traits. You are patriotic, dependable, and deeply committed to making our communities better.

Each quarter, I will recognize an East Texan who has gone above and beyond in serving our region - someone who epitomizes the identity of a Minuteman. In addition to recognition in the quarterly newsletter, we will send the person a Moran Minuteman t-shirt.

This quarter's Minuteman, Camille Brown, has served with excellence in education for over 50 years. She is the owner and executive director of Stepping Stone School. Camille began her career as a kindergarten lead teacher in a private school in Tyler in 1966. She taught reading in public and private schools and directed two preschool programs, which she founded. Camille is also involved in numerous national, state, and local professional and civic organizations.

A nominator said, "In 2007 my husband and I had a 48-hour notice that we needed to become guardians for our three grandchildren. Ms. Camille, like a minuteman, reached out immediately to help us meet their every need. She helped with school uniforms, scholarship applications, enrollment and even bringing her staff together to provide an old-fashioned pounding to help feed these little brothers. Her quick efforts helped to stabilize a family crisis."

Additionally, Camille holds an annual Patriotic Parade around the 4th of July for her students at Stepping Stone. She wants the boys and girls to learn truth, honesty and freedom and to truly appreciate our veterans for what they have sacrificed for all of us. Camille teaches Christian ethics and values directing her students' paths into life-long skills for helping others.

Her hobbies include reading, fishing, gardening, and flying. She has four children, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Thank you, Ms. Camille, for always helping others in a moment's notice and for teaching the next generation about true patriotism. It is an honor to recognize you as the 2024 Second Quarter Minuteman.

Do you know an East Texan who would be a great next recipient? Please submit their name here ([link removed]) .

Our Moran Minuteman team will also be out and about serving at community events and in disaster relief efforts. Look for us, and we’ll toss you a t-shirt!

** Now...on to the National Convention
------------------------------------------------------------

I am honored to represent the First District of Texas at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee!
